\noutside of The Salvation Army. In May, National SATERN\u00a0Liaison Bill Feist (WB8BZH) will advance that part of the
\nStrategic Plan by speaking at several national conferences.<\/p>\n
The first presentation will be at the National Community\u00a0Relations & Development (CRD) and Emergency Disaster
\nServices (EDS) Conference in Indianapolis, IN. Feist will\u00a0present \u201cIt Really Can All Fail!\u201d about SATERN\u2019s response to
\nthe 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season.<\/p>\n
A week later, Feist will co-present with ARRL Preparedness\u00a0Manager Mike Corey (KI1U) and Jacqueline A. Yannacci,
\nAmerican Red Cross Director of Community Mobilization\u00a0Partnerships at the National VOAD (Voluntary Organizations
\nActive in Disasters) Conference in Providence, RI. The talk\u00a0entitled, \u201cAmerican Red Cross \u2013 ARRL Response to Hurricane
\nMaria: Amateur Radio Support for Disaster Operations\u201d, will\u00a0discuss the partnership between the American Red Cross, the
\nARRL and SATERN in providing Amateur Radio\u00a0communications for Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.<\/p>\n
The next week, Feist will present several times at the Dayton\u00a0Hamvention in Xenia, OH. On Saturday, 19 May, he will
\npresent, \u201cIt Really Can All Fail!\u201d and will also be part of a\u00a0Partnership Panel Discussion and an FCC Disaster EmComm
